Fear is a powerful emotion. It helps us protect our bodies and bolsters our abilities during moments of crisis. Fear can also be crippling. As parents, there are so many choices to make. Fear, in some way, enters into all of them! One of the decisions that is most full of fear is deciding to homeschool.

The fear of jumping into the unknown. The fear of what others with think. Fear that you will fail. These are common for all people considering homeschooling. It really is a big decision. However, you do not need to make it in fear.

The Homeschool Solution to Fear

I remember those fear filled days and sleepless nights. What if I do it all wrong? What if I ruin my child? I was paralyzed for years. Mostly because I did not have someone who could work through the fears with me. There was no source of encouragement. I honestly had no idea what I was doing.

You deserve better than that! Your family deserves better than that. Making this decision will be life changing, but it really is more of an amazing adventure than a life sentence. Having the information, inspritation, and tools to make a confident decision is key. Homeschoolers who start confident and informed are destined to succeed. There will be bumps in the road, that’s all part of life, but you can thrive. Just take it one step at a time.
